Billfly helps businesses manage invoicing and related payment workflows. The team is looking for a senior Bubble developer who can help improve a production app with careful attention to data privacy, billing accuracy, and scalable architecture.

About the Role

This part-time role is focused on complex Bubble implementation work: invoice flows, privacy rules, backend workflows, data structure, and product logic that needs to stay reliable as usage grows.

Responsibilities

• Build and improve Bubble workflows for invoicing, billing, and customer account experiences.
• Review privacy rules, database fields, option sets, and role-based access patterns.
• Debug complex workflow behavior across frontend actions, backend workflows, and integrations.
• Document architecture decisions so future changes are easier to maintain.
• Collaborate async with the team on scope, tradeoffs, and release sequencing.

Requirements

• Senior-level Bubble experience with production apps.
• Strong understanding of Bubble privacy rules, custom states, reusable elements, and backend workflows.
• Experience with invoicing, payments, subscriptions, or billing-heavy products.
• Ability to reason through complex database architecture and edge cases.
• Clear communication and comfort working independently.

Nice-to-Have

• API integration experience.
• Familiarity with Stripe, accounting tools, or finance operations workflows.
• Experience improving performance in larger Bubble apps.
